(1)新生儿缺氧缺血性脑病、早产儿脑发育和损伤及促进早期综合发展相关问题研究; (2)围产因素对母儿的影响研究; (3)早产相关问题(包括营养、ROP、脑发育等)研究; (4)新生儿内分泌、遗传、代谢问题研究。
1985年毕业于重庆医科大学儿科系,西安交通大学毕业获硕士、博士学位。已从事儿科主要新生儿医疗、教学和科研工作30年,曾由国家留学基金委资助、教育部派出赴欧美多国留学深造,先后以高级访问学者、访问科学家在罗马尼亚布加勒斯特医科大学妇女儿童研究所、美国哈佛大学医学院波士顿儿童医院及布来根和妇女医院等研究学习。在围产期缺氧缺血性脑损伤及康复、早产儿脑发育和损伤、内分泌遗传代谢问题对儿童早期对远期的影响及防治、早期发育营养、ROP防治、儿童早期综合发展等方有较深入的研究,已培养国内外硕士、博士研究生近六十余名。先后主持国家自然科学基金2项、国家科委国际合作项目、科技部创新基金、陕西省科技发展计划项目、陕西省卫生厅及西安交通大学国际合作项目等18项科研项目。在国内外核心刊物发表学术论文100余篇,多篇被SCI收录,主编、参编著作、教材16部,近十余年参加多项卫生部、中华医学会行业规范、指南、法规的制定,和全国围产新生儿领域同仁一道开展临床、科研、教学协作,开展国际、国内学术活动,促进新医疗、新技术的推广,为这一领域的进步做出了长期的努力。以第一完成人获得陕西省人民政府科技进步成果奖、陕西省教委科技进步成果奖三项。
现任西安交通大学医学院第一附属医院新生儿科学科带头人,儿科学系副主任,香港科技大学-西安交通大学硕博双学位联合培养导师。兼任:中国医师协会新生儿分会副会长、内分泌遗传代谢专业委员会主任委员,西北地区新生儿协作组组长、专家委员会主任委员,西安医学会新生儿学分会主任委员、儿科学分会副主委,中国医师协会儿童健康专业委员会常务委员、母乳库学组副组长,中华医学会儿科分会新生儿学组学术指导小组成员,中华医学会肠外肠内营养学分会儿科学组委员,全国医师定期考核新生儿专业编辑委员会委员,中国新生儿网理事会副会长,中国新生儿复苏网指导专家,欧美同学会会员及“海归医协”委员等,《中华儿科杂志》、《中国实用儿科杂志》、《中国新生儿科杂志》、《中国当代儿科杂志》、《中国儿童保健杂志》、《中国妇幼健康研究》、《发育医学杂志》、《Chinese Medical Journal》、《World Journal of Clinical Pediatrics》等杂志编委、常务编委、审稿专家。国家科学技术奖(初、终审)、国家自然科学基金、卫生部重大项目、教育部科技进步成果及全国高等学校博士学科点基金等评审专家。
